Lavender: Lavender essential oil has properties that calm the central nervous system. You can use lavender by adding a few drops to a diffuser or by trying products that are infused with lavender.

Close your eyes: Closing your eyes helps to clear your mind and get away from the world for a while. It gives your body an instant reset.

Avoid Caffeine:  If you find yourself in a high stress situation, avoid caffeine.  Caffeine tends to amplify the effects of stress. Instead, reach for some decaf or some herbal tea.

Stretch: Take a little time to stretch and get your blood flowing.  It will help you clear your mind and relieve tension and stress in the body.
